Julia occasionally teaches workshops on her techniques and designs—lively, hands-on sessions designed to inspire and spark creativity. More than just learning new skills, participants are encouraged to make the techniques their own, experiment freely, and enjoy the process. She teaches at yarn shops and fiber festivals in German, Dutch, and English.

Close-up of clothing including a pink dress with embroidery, a white textured scarf with colorful dots, and a person's hand wearing a knitted sleeve.

In this workshop, you will learn a simplified form of intarsia, where the contrast color is knitted directly into the desired sections of the fabric. Julia affectionately calls this technique "Lazytarsia."

Colorful plaid scarf draped over a dark wooden shelf with three balls of yarn in mustard, pink, and mauve resting on top.

During this workshop, participants will learn the technique behind Selvedge (a mix of intarsia and seed stitch) and experiment with their own tartan pattern.

In this workshop, we’ll use Loop Stitch to create a fluffy fabric reminiscent of the texture achieved with punch needle techniques.
